• The founders established E.A.C. in 1968 as an Automotive Service center and parts retail enterprise.
  
  
• The company survived the business hurdles in Egypt of the 60's to emerge in the mid 70's, after the "open door" policy with a clear vision for its future business' endeavors which was the automotive field.
  
  
• By 1973, the exclusivity of imports to the public sector was lifted, thus, enabling the company to expand its operations into importation and wholesale distribution of automotive spare parts and related products.
  
  
• The reputation of EAC in the domestic market as dependable quality parts stockiest, strongly contributed to its business success and ability to be selected as the partner of choice by many famous automotive parts suppliers.
  
  
• Presently, the company imports and distributes a wide range of parts from over 80 world renown manufacturers.
  
  
• Complementing its range of automotive products and activities, with an objective to maximize its services to its valued clientele, since 1997, EAC markets successfully on exclusive basis various reputable workshop equipment. This area of activity will be further expanded with additional equipment so as to offer as complete a range as possible.

The year 1982 heralds EAC's entry in the passenger car business. The company feeling confident of its capabilities and position foresaw the forthcoming opportunities in passenger Car distribution. International class car manufacturers represented in Egypt by State companies restrained to change distributors, were soon to be allowed to select their choice partner.

Under such circumstances a timid co-operation initiated with Mercedes Benz A.G., developed by 1989 into a full fledged Mercedes distributorship. "NATCO" which stands for National Automotive Company was formed in 1988 for the purpose. EAC partners own 33% of the stock.

The success story with Mercedes Benz was soon to be followed by a business cooperation agreement with SEAT - Spain in 1993. EAC, is the most successful importer for SEAT vehicles in the Middle East.

EAC continued it's successful automotive path and expanded its activities, encouraged by results, political stability and the good performance in general of the Egyptian economy:

• Dr. Ing. H.C.F. Porsche Aktiegesellschaft - 1996. Exclusive Distributor for Porsche sport cars.
  
  
• Harley Davidson - 1997. Exclusive distributor for motorcycles and subordinate products.
  
  
• SsangYong Motor Co. , LTD- 1995 . Exclusive Distributor of 4X4 sport-utility vehicles.
  
  
• Cooperation agreement was concluded in 2001 with the famous producer of heavy duty commercial vehicles and buses , Swedish SCANIA
  
  
• In November 2003 cooperation agreement was signed with Gummiwerk KRAIBURG Austria - Retread rubber Manufacturers and production started in our new factory built for this purpose in 6 of October city.
  
  
• In January 2004, cooperation agreement was signed with PIAGGIO Group for distribution of legendry scooter brands: Vespa, Piaggio, Gelira along with accessories
